Learn about the iconic Northland brown kiwi, see their feeding sites/disused burrow areas and visit the colourful and informative island conservation/eco-centre. Depending on the tide, have a swim or try a fresh pacific oyster off the rocks. Discover New Zealand’s rich flora, including the famous Kauri tree and hear about Maori cultural uses for foods and medicines. Whether you want to discover conservation, spot endangered birds, have a swim or an easy interesting bush walk this trip has it all. Our comfy shuttle will collect you from the Paihia wharf on departure from your ship for either one of the morning or afternoon scheduled tours, giving you some flexibility and time to enjoy the sights and beaches in Paihia too. Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
